2012 EVP Tour announces New Sponsor Kings Hawaiian

Long Beach, IN (April 23, 2012) EVP Tour, a Professional national beach volleyball attraction announced today that King’s Hawaiian (www.kingshwaiian.com), makers of the only Hawaiian bread authentically crafted in the true spirit of the islands, will be an official sponsor of this year’s tour.

“We are thrilled about the EVP Tour’s partnership with a company whose fan base is as dedicated as King’s Hawaiian’s,” commented Tour President Ross Balling. “Every time I mention King’s Hawaiian products to friends and family, they rave about how much they love the Hawaiian Sweet rolls and bread.”

King’s Hawaiian has been delighting palates young and old since its founder, Robert R. Taira, created the recipe for Original Hawaiian Sweet Bread nearly 60 years ago in Hilo, Hawaii. Light and fluffy in texture, with just a hint of sweetness, King’s Hawaiian’s Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, Bread and Buns are crafted from the finest ingredients, staying true to the original recipe. These uniquely delicious products are widely available in the Deli or In-Store Bakery departments of supermarkets from California to Maine.

“King’s Hawaiian is honored to welcome the EVP Tour to our ever growing ohana (the Hawaiian word for ‘family’),” said Courtney Taira, granddaughter of King’s Hawaiian founder Robert Taira and the company’s consumer care manager. “The positive impact the EVP has on every community it touches with its workshops and tour stops is truly the embodiment of the Aloha Spirit— a humble expression of mutual hospitality and kindness that embodies the cultural values and graciousness of Hawaii—which we’re thrilled to share with families throughout the mainland.”

The EVP Tour has been hosting beach volleyball events since 1990 and encourage all athletes and their family members to come out for “a great day at the beach”. You and your teammates may register for the tournaments at www.evptour.com or call 773-387-1198.
