2014 EVP Schedule Announced

CHICAGO (March 3, 2014) – In most parts of the country, beach volleyball season is rapidly approaching; in some parts, snow is still melting and rivers are starting to flow. March is a perfect time to launch the 2014 EVP Tour schedule for juniors and professional beach volleyball athletes.
“We are very excited for another season of fast pace volleyball action,” says Commissioner of the EVP Tour, Ross Balling, “There are extremely talented athletes competing on the tour in 2014, including Gold Medalists and thousands of young athletes. Over 80,000 fans are expected to spectate over the course of 17 national events. Additional fans will be able to watch the EVP Tour on the Beach Sports Network with TV coverage in 40 states across the US.
With the City-versus-City competition as the EVP trademark, players and fans enjoy strong rivalries as teams battle for supremacy in the sand and a chance to represent their city on a national level.
This year’s tour kicks off on May 3rd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Additional stops along the way include Tybee Island near Savannah, GA. Vanderbilt Beach in Naples, North Beach in Racine, Wis., and Oak Street Beach in Chicago, among others.

In addition, each tour stop offers local spectators the opportunity to compete in contests, clinics with the pros and lots of volleyball. The action doesn’t stop when the sun ends. Pre and post event parties at local restaurants will give fans have the opportunity to bump elbows with their favorite players and compete in fun events like “Bump for the Bucket” for fun prizes.

As EVP Championship events continue to develop, our goal is bring the EVP Tour to Europe with our international TV distribution and partnership with the PROSeries.
